I am reading “the Robber Bride” and have been meaning to post this for awhile.
“From upstairs she can hear a rhythmical thumping, punctuated by what sounds like a mixed chorus of mating hyenas, cows being hit with sledgehammers, and tropical birds in pain.”

We were driving downtown yesterday. There was a large red SUV in front of us with the license plate MEEMOO. It took us a minute and then we realized that the SUV likely belonged to a kitty-cow. Hooray!!!
