So, it’s been a few weeks…I do have pangs of guilt about leaving readers hanging on the Coca Cola light story, and not telling you where I have been the past few weeks. I am back in the states now, which is why I didn’t write for awhile. From Belgium I went to Paris and spent about 4 days there just reveling in the Parisienne spring. It was the perfect end to the trip! I was pirating an exchange-student dorm where I was invited to stay by an American that I met on the trin in Portugal. Because I was pirating the dorm (yeah, I was out of money…it needed to be free) I had to make myself scarce in the halls and couldn’t spend much time in the computer rooms. So, that’s why I stopped writing then. Paris was amazing, warm, mostly sunny with warm springtime rains added ocassionally and everything was flowering. I came home from there and then crashed. I have never understood the meaning of jet lag until I got back to oregon. I couldn’t think straight for about a week, and couldn’t sleep either. It was very strange. Then after 6 days of jet-lag maddness, Michael came up to Oregon and I have been just hanging out with him ever since. So, there’s the summarization. I desperately want to write a more detailed account of paris, and will at some point, but I am sick now aned that state does not lend itslef to writing well. In light of that, the Coca- Cola story still has to wait. I am excited to weave that into a post.
