Thanks, Sam. Took me a while to find time to look at the pictures, but they're still lovely.

Really Cool. What a wonderful tour. An older name for the birth canal passage is simply the hallway. At least that is what some fairies told me long ago.

We need to do lunch one day very soon Mister. Many reasons. 1) I miss our political conversations and 2) you have obviously been brainwashed. = ) (See it's not as fun in writing. I need to hear your smart ass remarks.)

Usually I cringe when Pat Robertson opens his mouth. This time, unfortunately, I think he's correct. And I didn't even need divine intervention to tell me that.

I know a bunch of anarchist Linux geeks, which is why I asserted the statement is not entirely metaphorical. Of course I would never suggest that everyone involved in a particular project has a particular political philosophy or leaning.

That said, the whole ethos of the open source movement (including Linux but by no means limited to it) is very much in line with a sort of Kropotkinian collectivism wherein people spontaneously self organize rather than submitting to a higher authority.

I'm not an expert on the linux/open source folks but I don't think they are anarchist. They set up rules (SVN or CVS check in/check out) and they outline priorities. There are a set of leaders. I'm using drupal and mediawiki as a source here. I would consider them more of a democracy/monarchy.

There is some very interesting brain research which details how too much screen time can lead to a re-wiring of the brain. Researchers report that these kids are not able to think as well and have less ability for imagination. I suggest resources found on the website of the National Institute on Media & The Family. www.mediafamily.org Good luck. Frank
